Ball and Chain

This week it is about me. Went in for my six month check up today. I get the results next Tuesday. Typical sh*t. CT scan to look for tumors. Blood work to check the kidney function. I doing well outside of the scan. But, no matter how long it goes on, I will NEVER get used to this period. The time between getting the scans taken and the actual result feels just like 2005. The news group I belong to refers to it as Scanxiety. I hate having this Ball and Chain that pops up every six months. But, we all to deal with some type of sh*t in our lives. Was it Proust who said we only really learn when we struggle? This experience has taught me a lot.

crackpot... o-o-o-o-h-h, you're going out on a limb there and taking New England. And you whine when when I take Tiger. Show something to set yourself apart and not be a front runner (again)!!

Are you off the couch yet??!!!

crackpot... 1 for 4 ??!!! Don't feel too bad, it could happen to anybody after they decide to talk both trash to the king and and give some self-exultation too. I hope the impact when you hit bottom didn't hurt too badly!! Remember, the higher you climb (mentally), the farther you fall.

Cheer up... you got 3 games to go!! Better ride your bread and butter Patriots to raise your record all the way up to .500! Oh wait, NE busted you too!!!! This could be a tough hole to climb out of or it will be a l-o-o-o-o-n-g off season for the crackpot!!

Ever see the movie Two For The Money... check it out!

Jackpot has shown his prowess (or lack thereof) in picking NFL games. He will stick to college football and major league lacross from this point forward. Jackpot could live with a .500 record, but 1-3 is not deserving of another change. If only New England had kicked another field goal, Jackpot could have spouted off.
